Israeli drones and fighter jets have carried out a series of airstrikes in the city of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip, killing four Palestinians.
Palestinian ministry of interior in Gaza reported a “dangerous security incident” without giving more details.
In a statement, the ministry reported a number of casualties including deaths.
Witnesses said that a group of Israeli undercover forces infiltrated into the city of Khan Younis and opened fire at a senior leader of Hamas military wing –Al-Qassam Brigades.
Then, the witnesses said, the Palestinian resistance fighters responded to the attack and the Israeli drones and fighter jets started their bombing in the area, killing four Palestinians so far.
Israeli Hadashot 24 reported one Israeli soldier killed and three were wounded, inclduing one suffered serious injuries in clashes with the Palestinian resistance.
