A 16-year-old Palestinian, identified as Ahmed Musabah abu-Tuyur, died Saturday morning after he was injured on Friday from live Israeli fire at a demonstration in the area of Rafah.
A video published on social media shows Abu-Tuyur hurling a rock towards Israeli soldiers from a great distance and waving at them for about ten seconds before he was shot.
On Friday, during the weekly protests of the Great March of Return, a 17-year-old boy identified as Bilal Khafaja was killed by live Israeli fire, while at least another 215 were wounded.
Thousands of Palestinians attended the demonstrations, which protested US President Donald Trump's decision to cut the entire US aid budget of the UN agency in charge of assisting Palestinian refugees and their descendants.
However, the main goals of the Great March of Return is to reinforce the right of the Palestinians to return back to their homes occupied by Zionist Jews in 1948 and to call for lifting the 12-year-old Israeli siege imposed on Gaza.
