Israeli ministerial committee decided on Sunday to oblige Palestinian Authority (PA) to stop paying salaries to Palestinian prisoners and freed prisoners.
The Israeli ministerial committee for legislation decided to cut the money going for the salaries of the prisoners and freed prisoners from the taxes Israeli authorities collect on behalf of the PA.
According to Israeli sources, the bill would be proposed for the Knesset in order to be approved very soon.
Based on the bill the Israeli defence minister submits annual reports about the amount of the salaries to the meant Israeli authorities to deduct it from the taxes.
The money, according to the Israeli sources, are intended to go for a fun aimed to pay compensations for the families of the Israeli soldiers killed in offensives on the Palestinians.
Israeli Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman welcomed the bill and said that it would help Israeli fighting Palestinian “terror.”
