During wide-scale operation, Israeli occupation forces shot dead on Saturday evening Palestinian citizen in West Bank city of Jenin, medical sources said.
Local sources in the city said that a large number of the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Burqin armed with heavy military equipment.
The Israeli occupation forces surrounded a number of Palestinian houses and started demolishing them, looking for an alleged wanted Palestinian.
According to the sources, they demolished the house of Khalid Ateeq in addition to several other facilities in the village.
During their operation, the sot eight Palestinian nine Palestinian citizens with live ammunition, including one in the head.
Palestinian medical sources identified the one shot in the head as Ahmed Obeid. He was admitted to hospital in a serious condition and late on he was announced dead.
At the end of the operation, described by Israeli media as “failed,” the Israeli occupation army announced arresting a number of Palestinians for questioning.
