Israeli Ministerial Committee for Legislation voted on Sunday to approve proposal to take authority to declare war from government and give it to prime minister.
The proposal sought to amend Basic Law: The Government to allow the prime minister to declare war or undertake a military operation with approval only from the Cabinet—even without all its members present—without having to receive approval from the entire coalition.
In light of recent developments, Israeli Ynet News said that almost all of the controversial bills were removed from the schedule and did not go up to a vote.
Since Wednesday, the situation in the occupied territories is heating up due to the continuous Palestinian demonstrations against the US President Donald Trump’s decision about Jerusalem.
To deter the Palestinian demonstrations, the Israeli occupation forces used lethal force so that they have killed four Palestinians and wounded more than 1,300 since Wednesday.
Following to the Israeli arrogance, the Palestinian resistance threatened Israel to stop its aggression or it would take counter measures to stop it.
As a result, the Israeli authorities decided to unleash the hand of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to kill the Palestinians and destroy the Palestinian territories as he did in previous offensives.
