Israeli occupation forces abduct 11 Palestinians, steal cash money

Israeli occupation forces abducted 11 Palestinians and stole large amount of cash money from different areas across occupied West Bank.

Local sources said that the Israeli occupation forces raided a number of areas of the southernmost West Bank city of Al-Khalil.

In the town of Yatta south of Al-Khalil, the Israeli occupation forces abducted brothers Khalid and Fadel Mohamed al-Roomy, as well as Anas Awaissa.

Mohamed Awad, a local activist in Beit Ummar north of Al-Khalil, said that several Palestinian suffered from severe tear-gas inhalation during the Israeli military campaign.

Awad said that Israeli occupation troops stole tens of thousand shekels from the home of Beit Ummar resident Ibrahim abu-Maria and 1,540 shekels (approximately $400) from Maher Ibrahim Sabarneh’s house.

Israeli forces also confiscated surveillance camera from the house of Beit Ummar resident Ali Awad.

Israeli soldiers raided houses of Mirshed Awad, Rashid Awad, Issa Sleibi, Mohamed Abdul-Hamid al-Zaaqiq and the house of the family of slain Palestinian Omar Arafat Issa Zaaqiq.

Zaaqiq was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces in 2015 after his car had collided and hit a barrier. The Israeli soldiers claimed he planned to run over them.

Residents were held inside rooms while the Israeli occupation forces searched their houses.

In Jerusalem, the Israeli occupation forces abducted two Palestinians, one from the Al-Issawiya Neighbourhood of the occupied East Jerusalem and one from the town of Hizma in the West Bank, Wafa news agency reported.

Earlier on Tuesday evening, the Israeli occupation police abducted a Palestinian minor from Silwan Neighbourhood in the occupied East Jerusalem, Wafa added, noting that five others were abducted from different areas that it did not get their full details.

According to United Nations documentation, Israeli forces conducted 123 search and arrest operations across the West Bank and arrested 152 Palestinians, including 20 children, between September 12 and 25.
