Israeli forces shot, wounded AP photographer in West Bank, attempting to stop covering their violations against Palestinian gathering.
During a peaceful protest for tens of Palestinian youths held on Sunday in Al-Ram Neighbourhood in the West Bank city of Ramallah, an Israeli occupation sniper shot a rubber-coated-with-steel bullet at the leg of the AP photographer Majdi Mohamed.
AP said that its photographer Majdi Mohamed was covering gathering in Al-Ram, where Palestinians took to the streets during an Israeli raid on the home of Misbah Abu Sbeih, who was killed by the Israeli forces a couple of hours earlier to the incident.

Israeli forces used tear gas and rubber-coated-with-steel bullets to disperse Palestinian youth in the area, the statement said.
During the coverage of the incidents, Mohamed reported that one of the Israeli soldiers began cursing at him and ordering him to leave.
As Mohamed turned to leave, he was shot at close range with a rubber-coated-with-steel bullet in a part of his back not covered by his ‘Press’ protective vest.
During the incident, at least seven young Palestinians were shot and wounded by the Israeli occupation forces, including an unspecified number who suffered suffocations due to the heavy firing of tear gas.
