Days of Palestine, West Bank -Israeli occupation forces uprooted on Wednesday around 500 olive trees in Skaka neighbourhood in eastern West Bank city of Salfeet.
Uprooting the Palestinian olive trees comes in line with the Israeli government’s plan to expropriate Palestinian lands in the area.

Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli military bulldozers uprooted the 500 trees over an area of 35 dunams in Skaka.
In addition, they said that the Israeli occupation imposed curfew around the neighbourhood and prevented Palestinian citizens from entering or leaving it until it finished uprooting the trees.
Palestinian citizens in the neighbourhood said that the Israeli occupation plans to include the razed Palestinian land to the illegal Israeli settlements of Nofei Nehemiah and Rachelim.
