Al-Qeeq’s health condition has deteriorated dramatically early Sunday, sources from the Israeli hospital, HaEmek, told Days of Palestine.
Family sources also told Days of Palestine that he is at brink of death as signs of a stroke appeared on his body since Saturday.
Hiba Masalha, the lawyer of the PA Committee of Prisoners’ Affairs also said on Saturday that Al-Qeeq’ condition was worsening with every passing moment.

Earlier this month, the Israeli Supreme Court suspended the administrative detention of Al-Qeeq until he recovers, but he insisted to continue his hunger strike until he is released or die.
“He is on the brink of death, and we might hear news of his martyrdom at any moment, especially due to fears that he might suffer from a stroke,” the lawyer Masalha said.
