Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation killed on Monday Palestinian teen at Za’tara Military Checkpoint in occupied West Bank.
An eyewitness told Days of Palestine that the Palestinian teen was looking sick and when he approached the Israeli troops, they asked him to get closer.
“Then, I heard a sound of gunfire and the teen collapsed and started bleeding,” the eyewitness said. “A couple of minutes later, a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance arrived in the scene and the Israeli forces prevented it from evacuating the teen.”
The eyewitness said he was not sure whether the Palestinian teen was dead when the Israeli police prevented the Palestinian ambulance from evacuating him or not.
Palestinian and Israeli sources confirmed the death, saying that the youth is Imam Dwekat,16.
Official occupation sources claimed that the Palestinian attempted to stab an Israeli border guard at the military checkpoint and the other guards responded with gunfire, killing the teen.
