Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip –Israeli occupation forces opened fire at Palestinian farmers, arrested fishermen in the Gaza Strip, witnesses said on Sunday.
The witnesses told Days of Palestine that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at the Palestinian farmers harvesting wheat and barley in the east of Khan Younis city, south of the Gaza Strip.
Three farmers were wounded and evacuated from their farms to a local hospital in the city of Khan Younis, then, they were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

Medical sources said that one of the three farmers suffered serious wounds, while the two others suffered light injuries.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at three suspects while approaching the borders. However, witnesses stressed they were farmers working in their farms near to the borders.

Meanwhile, the Israeli naval forces opened fire at two fishing boats off the Gaza coast and arrested two fishermen were on board.
Head of Fishermen Syndicate Nizar Ayyash told Days of Palestine that the fishermen Hatem al-Sultan, 33, and his cousin Mohamed al-Sultan were arrested after being shot at and were led to an unknown destination.
He said that he was not sure whether they were affected by the Israeli shooting at their boats before they were arrested or not.
Such aggression against Palestinian farmers and fishermen in the Gaza Strip occur on a daily basis and the Israeli occupation claims it targeted terror suspects.
