Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –Israeli authorities approved this week the construction of 1,500 new settlement units in illegal Israeli settlement in Jerusalem.
Israeli TV Channel 10 reported that the Israeli authorities had issued instructions for the Jerusalem District Planning and Building Committee to build1,500 new settlement units in the illegal Jewish-only settlement of Ramat Shlomo, located in northern Jerusalem.
The Israeli TV added that all obstacles ahead of the construction were removed and everything is ready to approve building the new units on Wednesday this week.
International law criminalises Israeli settlement in the occupied Palestinian territories, including the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
UN, US, EU and many other countries have always been calling for the Israeli occupation to stop settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territories, but the Israeli authorities insist to go ahead in defiance to the entire world.
