Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation soldiers shot and killed on Saturday morning 16-year-old Palestinian citizen from Jerusalem.
Confidential sources told Days of Palestine that an Israeli occupation soldier provoked the Palestinian citizen at an Israeli checkpoint near the illegal Israeli Jewish settlement of Ma’aleh Adumim, in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian, who was identified as Ali Ghannam, was accompanying a relative lady, whom the Israeli soldiers insulted. “He wanted to defend the lady,” an eyewitness told Days of Palestine, “then, the Israeli soldier aimed his rifle at him, shot and killed him with cold blood.”
Palestinian News Agency Safa reported conformed eyewitness account on the same incident.
However, the Israeli occupation mass media reported a spokesman of the Israeli occupation forces claiming the Palestinian attempted to stab an Israeli soldier, who defended himself by opening fire.
According to the Palestinian ministry of health, the Israeli occupation refused to allow the Palestinian Red Crescent to evacuate the body of the Palestinian. An Israeli ambulance arrived in the scene later on and evacuated the body.
