Days of Palestine, Paris –France is preparing a draft UN Security Council resolution in about 12 days, a French diplomat said.
The draft would define Palestine as the land only occupied by Israeli in 1967 and consider defining its frontiers as the borders of the future state of Palestine.
It includes a chance to exchange territory –conceding Palestinian territories in the occupied West Bank, where tens of huge Israeli settlement are built, to the Israeli occupation in return to getting strips of lands in the lands occupied in 1948 (Israel).
According to the French draft, the holy city of Jerusalem would remain a capital of both the Israeli occupation and the potential Palestinian state.

Regarding the millions of Palestinian refugees scattered around the world, the draft calls for a fair solution.
Previously, France failed to get a UNSC resolution on the Palestinian issue, but a French official told AFP that his country is hoping this time to avoid a US veto at the UN because of increasing American frustration with the Israeli occupation PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
The French official described a possible “backdoor” for negotiations now, and said “all actors including the Americans now realise that all other ways have been explored, without success.
