Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –Israeli authorities approved on Tuesday the construction of 2,200 settlement units in Jerusalem, Radio said.
The General Israeli Radio said the ‘Israeli Planning and Constriction Committee’ in the occupied city of Jerusalem approved building the settlement units in Al-Sawahra Neighbourhood in the east side of the holy city.
According to the radio, tens of illegal settlement units were built without approval would be approved retrospectively.
In addition to the units approved today, reports revealed that 142 new settlement units were approved on Monday. They were planned to be built in the illegal Israeli settlement of Har Homa, which is built in Jabal Abu-Ghneim in Jerusalem.
