Days of Palestine, Negev –An Israeli truck hit on Tuesday a passenger bus in occupied Negev, killing eight Palestinian ladies from the village of Horah.
The Palestinian ladies were in a trip to Al-Aqsa Mosque and witnesses asserted that the accident was not an accidental collision as the Israeli police officials had claimed.
According an Arab witness, the Israeli truck was returning back from demolishing a Palestinian bedouin village in the occupied Negev.
At least 24 other passengers were injured, most of them sustained serious injuries, in the crash at the junction near bedouin towns and village. Most of the casualties were women, said the witnesse.
The mayor of the nearby town of Rahat, Talal al-Kariani, said that the bus passengers were mostly elderly, local Muslims, who go to pray at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in daily organised or weekly trips.
Israeli occupation always demolishes Arab villages in the Negev under the pretext of being built without license.
Palestinians holding Israeli citizenships organise trips to Al-Aqsa Mosque taking part in activities aimed at undermining Israeli judaisation of the third holiest place on earth for about 2 billion Muslims around the world.
