Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation arrested on Monday afternoon Palestinian youth wanted to have a seat at an Israeli checkpoint.
The witnesses said that the Palestinian, who is in his early twenties, was blocked for 45 minutes at Al-Shuhadaa Checkpoint in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil.
“Then he tried to sit down on a table at the checkpoint,” International Solidarity Movement activist reported. “The soldiers seemed to get very angry and so they arrested him.
“They grabbed him, they pushed him, he pushed back in return, and he was handcuffed and led away to Tel-Rumeida military base.”
No news has been emerged about the whereabouts of the Palestinian youth.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that the Israeli occupation forces had brutally attacked on Sunday a 17-year-old boy near Zaim checkpoint at the eastern entrance of occupied Jerusalem under the pretext of not obeying their orders.
Palestinian Red Crescent said that the boy was transferred to hospital in Abu Dis town after receiving first aid at the scene.
