Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation forces arrested on Sunday 13 Palestinians in different places in West Bank, shot one in Tulkarm.
Local Palestinian sources said that the Israeli occupation forces raided several Palestinian cities, included Nablus, Jenin and Ramallah in the occupied Palestinian West Bank and arrested Palestinian citizens from homes.
Activist Khalid Ali said that seven of the Palestinian arrested by the Israeli occupation overnight were minors and it is believed they were arrested on background of taking part in anti-Israeli protests.
One of the Palestinians arrested was a lawyer from Kafr Qalil south of Nablus. He was named as Ibrahim Nawwaf al-Amer.
Nawwaf is a journalist and said that the Israeli occupation forces stole much amount of money from the pocket of his son during the inspection of his house. They also stole, Nawwaf said, several mobiles and laptops during the operation in his house.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces shot a Palestinian youth in the village of Saida in the north-east of the West Bank city of Tulkarm.
Palestinian medical sources identified the youth as Abdul-Razzaq al-Ashqar, 20. The sources said he sustained moderate injuries.
Israeli occupation arrested 1,300 Jerusalemites since July, Palestinian Prisoners Club said, more than 40 per cent were minors.
According to the Club, most arrests took place during night inspection campaigns that traumatised all people. Some of the prisoners were violently waken up before they were arrested.
Tension in Jerusalem and the West Bank has been increasing because of the continuous Israeli violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque, which have escalated since about two months ago.
Israeli occupation officials and settlers keep desecrating Al-Aqsa Compound, its mosques and Sanctuary Yards almost every day.
