Days of Palestine, West Bank/Jerusalem –Israeli occupation forces arrested on Monday night 36 Palestinian citizens, including minors and former prisoners.
In the occupied Palestinian city of Jerusalem, witnesses said that large numbers of Israeli forces invaded the city, stormed homes and carried out a wide inspection campaign.
Families reported the arrest of 22 citizens, including two minors and the former prisoner Mahmoud Jaber, 19, who had been released from the Israeli jails.
Local Palestinian sources said the campaigns were concentrated in Al-Tur, Jabal Al-Mukabber and Sur Baher neighbourhoods, as well as the Old City.
The Israeli forces, the Palestinian families reported, damaged properties and confiscated laptops and mobile sets during the inspection and the arrest campaign.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation stormed the Palestinian cities of Jenin and Al-Khalil and broke into Palestinian homes.
Witnesses said that the Israeli forces used police dogs that horrified the civilians sleeping at homes.
Families from both cities reported the arrest of 14 Palestinian citizens.
