Days of Palestine, Reports –Israeli occupation authorities banned 16-month old boy from visiting his father inside jails as he came out of smuggled sperm.
Israeli newspaper Haaretz revealed that the prisoner Abdul-Karim al-Rimawi has not been allowed to see his son because her smuggled sperms to his wife.
Al-Rimawi, who is spending a 25-year old sentence inside Israeli jails could smuggle his sperms about two years ago. His wife, Lidia, could successfully undergo in-vitro fertilization and give birth of a baby boy.
Haaretz said that it got a document proves that the director of the Israeli prison of Kitzi’ot had banned the visit of the wife and the son of the prisoner Al-Rimawi.
At the same time, Al-Rimawi’s father reported that the administration of the Israeli prison told him that his daughter-in-law and his grandson were prevented from visiting his son in the prison. He said the prison administration did not disclose the reasons for the ban.
When Haaretz reviewed the ban order, the prison administration said that there is no ban, but in fact, Haaretz said, the ban is still in force.
Several Palestinian prisoners, who are spending long prison terms, have smuggled sperms to their wives in order to fertilise artificially so they have babies and get refreshment of hope to remain alive and be freed.
Israeli occupation authorities impose strict restrictions on the prisoners’ visits and in hundreds of cases, they completely prevents visits.
Palestinian, Israeli and international rights groups have repeatedly demanded that these restriction be lifted, but no ears could hear those demands.
