Days of Palestine, Reports –Israeli occupation government approved on Sunday law that stipulates 20 years for throwing stones in riots, Israeli media reported.
During a cabinet meeting, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the approval of an amendment to the penal code designed to stiffen punishment for throwing stones or other objects during riots or protests.
“‘Israel’ is taking vigorous action against terrorists and those who throw stones, fire bombs and fireworks,” Netanyahu said.
He promised to bring to his cabinet stricter laws to get approval for facing the Palestinian children, who always throw stones at the Israeli army when they assault them or their protests. “We will also pass stronger legislation on the issue,” he said.
“All of this is in order to restore quiet and security throughout Jerusalem. I have ordered that massive reinforcements be brought in and that additional means be used in order to ensure law and order in Israeli capital,” Netanyahu told his Cabinet.
Confirming his support for the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Jewish Israeli settlers, Netanyahu told his cabinet in this meeting that he wants to preserve the Israeli sovereignty over Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to facilitate the desecration by extremist Jews.
