Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation forces have wounded eight, arrested 15 Palestinians in West Bank and Jerusalem since Sunday midnight.
Demonstrations and protests broke out in several areas and neighbourhoods in the Palestinian city of Jerusalem since Saturday evening.
The riots started as the Israeli occupation put off passing the body of the Palestinian teenager, whose car collided two days ago and killed an Israeli and wounded seven others, to his family in order to be buried.
Palestinian sources counted since midnight eight Palestinian citizens lightly and moderately wounded and 15 arrested by the Israeli occupation forces cracking down on the Palestinian demonstrations and protests.
The Israeli authorities said that it would pass the body of the teenager to his family on Saturday night and it would allow 80 relatives to walk in his funeral.
As the family and relatives were waiting, the Israeli authorities said it would pass the body on Sunday evening with only 20 family members and relatives allowed to walk in his funeral.
Director of Wadi Al-Hilwa Information Centre Jawad Siam said that fierce clashes between the Palestinian protesters and the Israeli occupation forces mainly took place in the neighbourhood of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Siam said that hundreds of protestors suffered inhalation difficulties due to the heavy use of tear gas by the Israeli occupation forces. One of the casualties is a little child, whose health condition was described by medical sources very critical.
