Thousands of Palestinians took to the streets of the occupied Palestinian city of Jerusalem on Friday to protest against the strict Israeli siege on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Heavy Israeli forces existed in all streets and alleyways of occupied Jerusalem cracked down on the Palestinian protesters and attempted to prevent them from reaching the holy site.
Palestinians clashed with the Israeli occupation forces, which responded with heavy tear gas and metal-coated with rubber bullets. Dozens of Palestinians reported wounded.
Since Thursday, the Israeli forces have been closing the Gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque to secure entry of Israeli Jewish settlers into it. They banned men under 60 years and all women from entering into it. Several Palestinians were also arrested by Israelis.
Meanwhile, thousands of Palestinians took to the streets of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in solidarity with the Palestinians in Jerusalem and protesting the continuous Israeli aggression on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Palestinian security services faced the protests and violently dispersed them. They arrested many Palestinians, including a TV correspondent, as well as they wounded several others.
