Days of Palestine, Cairo –Palestinian delegation to Cairo refused on Tuesday morning to resume indirect talks with Israeli delegation protesting Israeli killing of Palestinians in West Bank.
In a statement, the Palestinian delegation said: “The Israeli occupation chose this time to liquidate Palestinians in order to undermine the resumption of the indirect talks mediated by Egypt. This proves the dirty plans of the occupation.”
The delegation said that the Israeli killing of the Palestinians and the Israeli invasion of Al-Aqsa Mosque as ignoring of the international demands calling for lifting the Israeli siege and starting the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
Commenting on the killing incident, the delegation said that the Israeli occupation liquidated the Palestinians, whom it accused of kidnapping the Israeli settlers, in order to “reinforce its narrative” about the kidnapping claims.
Neither the statement nor the members of the delegation spoke about the next step expected to be taken after they had refused the resumption of talks.
