Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –Israeli occupation forces prevented Palestinians from entering into Al-Aqsa Mosque to clear the way before settlers to pour into it.
Local sources told Days of Palestine that the Israeli occupation imposed a strict siege around Al-Aqsa Mosque and closed most of its Gates. It prevented men under 45 from entering into it, as well as all women.
Meanwhile, it allowed tens of settlers to enter in group into the Mosque. “Until now, 55 settlers have entered into the Mosque,” Media Officer in Al-Aqsa Association Mahmoud abul-Atta said. “Large numbers of settlers are expected to be allowed into the Mosque.

Abul-Atta added: “Forty Israeli policemen had spread in several corner inside Al-Aqsa Mosque before the settlers entered.”
It is worth mentioning that Israeli extremist have been calling for performing collective prayers inside Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Jewish holiday.
On Monday, the interior committee in the Israeli Knesset held an exceptional meeting to call for the Israeli government and the Israeli forces to afford protection for the settlers, who are planning to break into Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holiday.
