Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip –Israeli occupation navy kidnapped on Monday evening four Palestinian fishermen in the Mediterranean off the Gaza coasts.
Sources told Days of Palestine that the Israeli marine troops surrounded a group of fishermen on board of their fishing boat and kidnapped four of them.
Head of the Fishermen Union Nizar abu-Ayesh expressed his surprise over the kidnapping, saying the Israeli marine forces kidnapped the fishermen despite not sailing beyond the six-mile limit agreed upon in the ceasefire agreement on August 26.
The Israeli marine kidnapped Palestinian fishermen several times after signing the ceasefire agreement reached last months. They also opened fire towards them many times.
Every time, the Israeli occupation claims that the fishermen violate the six-mile limit.
Observers and human rights organisations always refute Israeli claims about sailing beyond the agreed upon limit and call for ending such continuous Israeli violations.
