Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –For first time since the Israeli occupation of Jerusalem’s Old City, Palestinian Christians are planning to organise an open mass prayer.
Israeli Chief Rabbinate, rabbis of the Derech Emuna organisation and rabbis of in the Old City have launched a campaign against Christian mass prayer initiative near Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Derech Emuna rabbis point out that the prayer service is part of a recent troubling trend of expanding control by the Christian Church in the Old City.
“For those responsible for giving the permit for this: prevent the gathering,” the Chief Rabbinate demanded in a statement responding to the prayer service.
It is not a matter of religious beliefs, but it is related to the spirit of hatred planted in the souls of these creatures towards all other human races.
In Palestine, not only the Muslims who suffer the Israeli aggression, but also Christians. Israeli settlers have several times vandalised Churches and Christian cemeteries and monasteries in the holy land.
