Zaydeh is an activist youth and admin of an Arabic Facebook page called ‘People of Al-Khalil.’ He posted a series of anti-occupation phrases two weeks ago.
On his Facebook page, he called the commander of the Israeli elite unit ‘Golani’ Ghassan Elyan of “children killer” and wrote that “blood of Gaza children will not go in vain.”
The court conditioned the release of the activist on bail of NIS10,000 ($2,800) and a pledge not to use internet, or payment of NIS4,000 ($11,200) without restrictions on using internet.
It is worth mentioning that Zaydeh was arrested in August and an Israeli court ordered the expansion of his remand detention until September 4. He was accused of creating a Facebook page called ‘The Intifada of Hebron.’
