The dairy income used to be spent on Palestinian orphans and poor in Al-Khalil and other Palestinian villages and cities.
Mamoun Rashid, trustee member of Al-Rayyan Firm, which run the dairy, said that the whole facility was levelled to the ground. He noted that the Israeli occupation had confiscated all its installations about two months ago.
Israeli occupation handed a demolition order to the dairy in July 20, in which the occupation gave the diary trustees a chance to appeal against the decision.
Rashid said that the demolition took place about one week before the proposed time –September 9, when the Israeli court should announce its decision regarding the appeal.
According to Rashid, the losses of the dairy exceed $1.5m and the number of orphans and poor affected is more than 7,000.
