Days of Palestine, Occupied Palestine –Israeli occupation army said on Wednesday that six mortars fired from Syria hit the occupied Golan Heights.
The occupation army described the mortars as “errant fire” resulting from heavy fighting very close to the ceasefire line.
Earlier, an Israeli soldier sustained wounds to the chest near the border. The occupation forces were not immediately able to say whether it was due to a bullet or shrapnel.
The soldier was evacuated by helicopter to Rambam Hospital in the northern port city of Haifa.

As a result of the fighting on the Syrian side, the level of alert is raised on the Israeli side, the occupation said, without confirming that it had been increased to the highest level.
