Days of Palestine, West Bank –After 24 days of interrogation inside Israeli jails, Palestinian engineer Mo’ath Ghanim fell into a coma.
Doctors in Al-Arabi Hospital in Nablus said that Ghanim is suffering from ambiguous illness. He does not hear, speak or respond to any signal. He also does not move any part of his body.
Mo’ath, from the West Bank city of Tulkarm, was arrested in July 17 at Al-Karama Crossing when he was returning home from Amman.

His family said that he went into this coma after experiencing severe conditions inside the Israeli interrogation centre.
His brother Mohammed said that doctors in the Palestinian hospital are trying to get his medical file from the Israeli prisons to review the history of his illness. Mohamed said that torture signs are very clear on Mo’ath’s body.
The doctors said that there are signs of injections. They said they could not identify the medicines injected through them. The doctors said they urgently need to know what medicine was given to Mo’ath as soon as possible.
It is worth mentioning that despite Mo’ath’s bad health condition, the Israeli Military Court sentenced him in absentia and the judge decided his release on bail of NIS3,000.
