Palestinian security sources said that the Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out security activities in Hebron and other cities since midnight.
Israeli TV Channel 7 confirmed the Israeli security activities and said the Israeli forces arrested a number of Palestinians in Bethlehem and Qalqilia.
In the village of Jalamah, witnesses said, the Israeli occupation set up a security checkpoint, and they handed over an arrest warrant for the family of Hisham Awad.
The witnesses said that Palestinian youth hurled stones at the Israeli occupation forces, which responded by throwing gas canisters.
