The Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening detained two Palestinian young men from the east Jerusalem district of Issawiya.
Local sources reported that Qusai Abed Alyan and Mohamed Siam, residents of Issawiya, were detained after the Israeli occupation forces stormed their homes and vandalized their properties.
Recently, the Israeli police started a renewed arrest campaign in Jerusalem and West Bank, detaining a large number of Palestinians.
For more than a year, the Israeli police have been waging a frenzied suppressive campaign against Issawiya residents, detaining or jailing hundreds of them, including minors, serving house demolition orders, blocking roads and committing different acts of provocation and crimes.
