Israeli occupation forces Friday arrested three Palestinian citizens, including two children, and postponed the trial of a prisoner in its jails.
Local sources said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Fawwar refugee camp south of Hebron, arrested the two children, Bilal and Jalal Al-Bayed, and took them to an unknown destination.
Israeli occupation forces also arrested Maher Burqan from Hebron governate while passing through the Container Military checkpoint, east of Bethlehem, the sources added.
Sheikh Burqan is one of the tribal affairs in Hebron and a social activist who had a role in trying to contain the recent events in the city.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation military court postponed the trial of the prisoner Muhammad Asrawi from the town of Allar, north of Tulkarm, until December 13.
On November 11, the Israeli forces stormed Asrawi’s house and vandalized its contents.
The Israeli occupation forces station about 700 military checkpoints inside the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem and control the movement of Palestinians.
These checkpoints carry out arbitrary arrests of citizens it considers “wanted” by its “intelligence,” claiming that they are involved in acts of popular resistance.
It also continues its incursions every night into cities and villages in the West Bank. It carries out a campaign of arrests among citizens and handing over communications to others to review its “intelligence” for interrogation amid intimidation against the security.
According to Palestinian statistics, the number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons is about 4650; 550 are patients.
