Days of Palestine – Nablus
On Monday evening, at least 10 Palestinian citizens were injured by rubber bullets when the Israeli occupation forces attacked a march in southern Nablus in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
The participants in the march carried Palestinian flags and chanted slogans hailing the prisoners’ steadfastness in the face of recent punitive measures taken against them.
According to local sources, the participants in the march walked towards the Huwara checkpoint in southern Nablus when the IOF started attacking them.
Consequently, ten citizens, including a journalist and a woman, suffered from rubber bullet injuries, and two of them were rushed to a local hospital. Many others also suffered from their exposure to tear gas.
Meanwhile, violent clashes broke out on the same day between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces at the Jalamah checkpoint in western Jenin.
Local sources said that dozens of young men blocked the main road leading to the checkpoint with burning tires, rocks, and other obstacles and embarked on hurling stones at the soldiers.
