The Ofer Israeli Occupation Court in sentenced Sunday, May 28, 2023, the Palestinian prisoner, Faris Brahma (37) from occupied Jericho to 12 years in prison, and a heavy fine of 34,000 shekels.
The Captive Club pointed out that the Palestinian prisoner, Brahma, was detained on the 23rd of September 2021, and that he is married and a father of four children, staying currently in “Raymond” Israeli prison.
Israeli occupation is currently holding more than 1,000 Palestinian detainees without charge or trial, the highest number since 2003, according to the Israeli human rights group HaMoked.
Israeli occupation authorities currently hold some 4900 Palestinians in prisons, including 160 children and 31 women.
