Israeli occupation forces IOF invaded Section 12 of the Nafha prison and searched Palestinian prisoners on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society PPS reported that IOF invaded Section 12, where 90 prisoners were held, and conducted searches inside.
The PPS added that the Israeli forces transferred prisoners to Section 10 in the same prison after totally evacuating it.
The ongoing incursions against Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons pose one of Israel’s repressive measures taken to suffocate more Palestinian detainees.
During the incursions, the Israeli troops usually attack, insult, and search Palestinian detainees. Tear gas canisters are also used to terrorize and harm Palestinian detainees.
According to Palestinian figures, Israel holds some 4900 Palestinian detainees in its prisons, including 31 women and 160 children.
