The Military Occupation Court sentenced the Palestinian prisoner, Karam Issa Bani Shamsa, from Beita, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, to a term of 3 years and a half in Israeli jail, and a fine of 15,000 shekels.
The Prisoners Information Office stated that the occupation forces had arrested Bani Shamsa on 2/6/2020, after raiding his family’s house, destroying its contents, and assaulting him and a number of his family members.
He was transferred to investigations at the Petah Tikva detention center.
The occupation intelligence charged Bani Shamsa with several charges in the indictment, most notably “belonging to a prohibited organization, and planning to carry out acts of resistance against the occupation.”
