Days of Palestine – Jerusalem
The Israeli occupation government has drawn a new scheme to displace the residents of the Bedouin community of Khan al-Ahmar, east of occupied Jerusalem.
According to the Hodhud Website, the Hebrew Channel 12 revealed that the occupation government has drawn up a new plan to evacuate the community and displace its residents, which it intends to implement in the near future.
According to the channel, the proposal calls for the evacuation of Khan al-Ahmar and the rebuilding of the community later in a place about 300 meters from the village site.
The channel noted that the proposal was formulated in the sessions of the “Israeli” security system and in the National Security Council of Prime Minister Bennett’s office.
The channel indicated that the new plan comes ahead of the scheduled session in the “High” occupation court, on the sixth of next March, to consider the request of the occupation government to postpone the evacuation and displacement of the residents of the Khan al-Ahmar community.
