The Egyptian Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza held on Tuesday an international workshop on the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
An Egyptian delegation and official European delegations attended the workshop.
The workshop, in the presence of European delegations, reviewed the reality of the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip in various respects, as well as the details of the reconstruction projects implemented by the Arab Republic of Egypt in Gaza, and the stages of their implementation.
It is scheduled to sign contracts for the second phase of Gaza reconstruction projects implemented by Egypt during the next few days.
The workshop aims to inform international delegations about the Egyptian reconstruction projects implemented in the Gaza Strip, as well as urge the international community and donors to participate in the reconstruction process of the Strip with the aim of improving the life and living conditions in Gaza.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli aggression on Gaza has left extensive infrastructure destruction, commercial buildings, and residential towers, and the citizens of Gaza are still homeless, waiting for the reconstruction of the Strip.
