The leader of the Israeli Meretz party Zehava Galon, attacked Thursday, April 6, the extremist minister of national security Itamar Ben Gvir and held him responsible for the current escalation.
“Whoever allowed the extremist Ben Gvir to order the – Israeli – police to use violence in Al-Aqsa and ignite the spark of anger in the Islamic world during the month of Ramadan is responsible for the escalation in the northern and southern regions – of occupied Palestine,” said Galon.
A few days ago, Ben Gvir ordered the Israeli occupation police to storm the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and attack and evacuate Palestinian worshipers from inside while praying, which escalated tension in the region.
