The Joint Operation Room of the Palestinian Resistance Factions in Gaza announced Wednesday, May 10, 2023, the firing of dozens of projectiles from Gaza toward the Israeli settlements and military sites in response to the massive Israeli attacks on the city.
In its statement today, the Joint Operation Room, which includes all Palestinian factions, stated that the Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza hit the Israeli settlements built on Palestinian lands with dozens of projectiles in retaliation to the Israeli attack on the Palestinian citizens in Gaza.
It added that the Israeli occupation launched sudden massive airstrikes on Gaza yesterday, Tuesday, assassinating 15 Palestinians, including 3 top militants in the Islamic Jihad movement in Gaza and their families.
It indicated that the Palestinian resistance response coincides with the anniversary of the Israeli aggression on Gaza in 2021 (known to Palestinians as the Battle of Saif Al-Quds).
The Palestinian resistance confirmed that the Israeli attacks on innocent Palestinian citizens and homes will be surely confronted with a military response by hitting Israeli sites with hundreds of projectiles.
It also emphasized its readiness to confront the fascist Israeli occupation violations and crimes against the Palestinian people in all ways.
On Tuesday, May 9, the Israeli occupation started a new violent aggression on the Gaza Strip, striking several homes, lands, and sites.
So far, the Israeli deadly airstrikes on the besieged Gaza murdered 21 Palestinians, including 4 women and 6 children, and wounded over 65 others.
In 2021, the Israeli occupation launched violent aggression on Gaza, during which Israeli warplanes murdered 259 Palestinians, including 39 women, 65 children, and 17 elderly.
