DaysofPal – The Gaza Center for Human Rights (GCHR) has reported that the Israeli military continues to kill and injure Palestinians daily, with an average of seven killed and 18 wounded each day since the ceasefire began on October 10, 2025. The group said this pattern highlights the continuation of Israel’s systematic campaign of violence against Palestinians.
In a statement released on Thursday, GCHR said the Israeli army maintains a consistent pattern of killings and targeted attacks despite repeated claims of a ceasefire. The organization has documented 368 Palestinians killed and 932 wounded over the past 54 days, showing that the violence continues unabated.
GCHR’s field teams have recorded ongoing Israeli air and artillery strikes, as well as demolition operations, particularly in areas near the so-called “yellow line.” These strikes frequently hit displacement zones, leaving civilians exposed and increasing the humanitarian toll.
The group warned that Israel is attempting to impose a new on-the-ground reality by moving the “yellow line” inward, effectively seizing additional territory within the Gaza Strip.
According to GCHR, this strategy prevents Palestinians from accessing nearly 60 percent of the territory, restricts population movement, and deepens the breakdown of social and economic networks.
The rights group highlighted a recent attack on displaced families in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis on the evening of Wednesday, October 3, 2025, as illustrative of the ongoing violations.
Israeli strikes targeted a single family in a refugee tent that offered no protection, killing five people, including two women and two children. The victims were identified as Ghada Mahmoud Muhammad Abu Hussein, 48; Fathi Fawzi Ali Abu Hussein, 36; Israa Muhammad Ali Abu Hussein, 29; and the children Muhammad Fathi Fawzi Abu Hussein, 10, and Bilal Fathi Fawzi Abu Hussein, 8.
GCHR stressed that this attack is part of a systematic policy targeting displaced Palestinians in areas that are supposed to be safe. The organization said the daily attacks demonstrate that the ceasefire has no real enforcement and that civilians remain subjected to fear, intimidation, collective punishment, and forced living conditions. GCHR warned that these measures are part of a subtle strategy of forced displacement and depopulation of the Gaza Strip.
The rights group called on the international community to act immediately to provide effective protection for civilians, stop repeated violations, prevent changes to Gaza’s geographic and demographic reality, and activate accountability mechanisms.
This includes supporting independent international investigations and referring those responsible for these crimes to the International Criminal Court.
