Israeli occupation forces arrested Saturday, 20 May 2023 several Palestinians from separate areas in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron after raiding and searching their homes.
Israeli military forces abducted the 16-year-old Palestinian boy Hassan Fouad Abu Ayyash after storming his house in the town of Beit Ummar.
Meanwhile, Israeli military forces arrested 6 Palestinians from Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron including 3 brothers after chasing their own vehicle.
The detainees were identified as Islam Issa Rabie, Muhammad Ziyad Abu Hamid, Ali Issa Ali Rabie, and the brother’s Malik, Elias, and Islam Ahmed Rabie.
Israeli forces have been carrying out near-daily military raids and violations against Palestinians in recent months.
In April 2023, Israeli military forces arrested about 900 Palestinians including 120 Children and 17 women, bringing the number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails to about 5,000 according to human rights institutions concerned with the affairs of Palestinian detainees.
