Israeli occupation forces closed Monday, August 28, two main entrances to the Azzun town in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, using iron gates.
Israeli troops closed the northern and western entrances to the town, harassing Palestinian citizens and embedding their movement, said local Palestinian sources.
The sources added that the armed forces raided many Palestinian houses, brutally searched them, and terrorized their residents.

It’s noteworthy that Azzun town witnesses systematic attacks, raids, and the closure of the main entrances by Israeli forces under the pretext that settler vehicles passing near the town’s entrance are stoned sometimes.
Daily, Israeli troops storm the Palestinian cities and towns of the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, detaining, killing, and injuring citizens there.
In July 2023, Israeli occupation forces and settlers committed a total of 897 attacks against the Palestinian people, their properties, and their holy sites, according to the Colonization & Wall Resistance Commission CWRC.
