Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished on Monday, 28 August 2023 Palestinian-owned horse barns in the Al-Jawareesh neighborhood of the city of Ramla.
Local Palestinain sources reported that well-armed Israeli troops invaded the Al-Jawareesh neighborhood accompanied by military bulldozers and demolished several horse barns belonging to Palestinain residents.
The Palestinain activist from Ramla Ibrahim Badawiya stated that Israeli forces demolished the horse barns under the pretext that the lands were public property.
Badawiya noted that the Israeli troops surrounded the area where the barracks are located and prevented the Palestinian residents from reaching the area in order to carry out the demolition.
Israeli occupation escalated the demolition orders against the Palestinian homes and properties in the towns and villages in 1948 occupied Palestinian lands, aiming to force the Palestinian residents to leave their own lands under the pretext of building without a permit.
Since the start of 2023, Israeli occupation leveled 25 Palestinian-owned structures in 1948 occupied lands leaving its people homeless. They issued demolition orders against dozens of others, according to Palestinain figures.
