Israeli occupation forces detained many Palestinian citizens in military raids across occupied Jerusalem today, Monday, August 28, 2023.
Palestinian eyewitnesses reported that Israeli troops stormed the Old City of Jerusalem and detained Jerusalemite Iyad Abu Ghazala after breaking into his house, searching it, and vandalizing its contents.
They also raided the house of Palestinian young man Mohammad Darwish, 26, in Al-Isawiyya village and detained him.
Israeli forces stormed the Darwish’s house, searched and vandalized its contents, and stole his belongings before detaining him, said Darwish’s father.
Another Palestinian has been detained by Israeli armed units on the road between the towns of Hazma and Jaba’, east of Jerusalem.

Daily, Israeli troops storm the Palestinian cities and towns of the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, detaining, killing, and injuring citizens there.
Last July only, they detained 530 Palestinian citizens, including 42 kids and 8 females, during many military raids across occupied Palestine.
In the same month, Israeli forces and settlers committed a total of 897 attacks against the Palestinian people, their properties, and their holy sites, according to the Colonization & Wall Resistance Commission CWRC.
