DaysofPal – Palestinian security forces in the southern Gaza Strip stated they have uncovered Israeli surveillance devices planted among the tents of displaced families at a shelter center in an attempt to gather field intelligence using advanced camouflage techniques.
A security officer told reporters the seized devices had been disguised in multiple forms to blend into the surrounding environment, including models shaped like rocks, making them difficult for civilians to detect.
The source said Israeli intelligence was likely using quadcopter drones to drop and position the equipment, exploiting periods of low movement inside the shelters, particularly during quieter hours.
Palestinian security services urged residents to exercise caution and to avoid approaching any suspicious objects, calling on the public to immediately report such items to the relevant authorities to prevent potential risks.
In a related development, Al-Haris (The Guardian) security platform, affiliated with the Palestinian resistance, issued alerts urging residents to heighten their vigilance and conduct regular inspections around tents, homes, and rooftops to ensure they are free of any unfamiliar devices or unusual changes amid what it described as ongoing Israeli attempts to deploy field surveillance tools inside civilian areas.
