Footage captured by an Israeli soldier’s camera, recovered in the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City, has exposed the Israeli military’s brutal treatment of Palestinians, including raids on homes and deliberate vandalism.
The videos, published on Sunday by Al Jazeera, reportedly date back to July 2024. According to the report, the camera was lost by an Israeli soldier during confrontations with Palestinian resistance fighters in Shujaiya, leading to its discovery.

The disturbing footage shows Israeli soldiers forcing Palestinian civilians to strip down to their underclothes, raise their hands, and walk in front of the troops. As of the time of publication, the fate of these civilians remains unknown.
Additional clips reveal Israeli soldiers raiding a home, appearing to ransack the belongings of residents who had recently been forced to flee.
In another video, Israeli occupation soldiers — including apparent reservists — were breaking into a house through a kitchen window. The scene shows a home still filled with fresh traces of life: meals left half-prepared and belongings hastily abandoned.

The revelations come as Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza continues into its 41st consecutive day, amid worsening famine and horrific living conditions for displaced Palestinians across the besieged strip.
Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes on Gaza show no sign of slowing. According to medical sources, at least 32 Palestinians have been killed since early Sunday morning alone.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that over the past 24 hours, Gaza hospitals received the bodies of 51 martyrs — including 11 bodies recovered from rubble — alongside 115 wounded individuals, as Israel’s relentless assault devastates the population.
