Dozens of extremist Israeli settlers invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday morning, September 11, 2023, entering through the Moroccan Gate, heavily guarded by Israeli occupation forces.
The Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that dozens of settlers raided the Al-Aqsa Mosque, conducting provocative tours within its courtyards and performing Talmudic rituals in the Bab al-Rahma area, located east of the mosque.
Israeli occupation forces continue to impose restrictions on Muslim worshipers from Jerusalem and the occupied territories, subjecting them to identity checks and detentions at the mosque’s entrances.
Residents of Jerusalem are increasingly urging a constant and vigilant presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque to counter the Israeli occupation and settler attempts at Judaization.
The so-called Temple groups have been consistently mobilizing settlers for extensive incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque during Jewish holidays, commencing in mid-September.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque faces daily incursions and violations by settlers, backed by Israeli occupation police, in an attempt to assert full control over the mosque and divide it both temporally and spatially.
